Cryonite® has become a very popular tool in pest management around the world, given its specific and unique qualities to eliminate pests by using freezing technology. Especially in cases where the insect has built up a resistance towards all known insecticides allowed (such as bed bugs), Cryonite® stands out as great alternative with high efficiency rate – and with the right handling, the potential usage of Cryonite® is enormous for any technician.
It should be noted that the Cryonite® System is both a unit and a method. The unit is made to allow the operator to carry out effective treatments, considering the specifics of the method. The method is based on an extremely fast cooling of insects with carbon dioxide snow to a very low temperature (-108F, -78C). The Cryonite® snow has an exceptional cooling capability. As the method is physical, this also separates it from the usual chemical-based methods. One of the many advantages is that there is no resistance build-up ability against the cooling for the insect. Cryonite® is by its very nature environmental friendly and hygienic. As the carbon dioxide used is a residue taken from industrial processes, Cryonite® adds no carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. By all means and meanings, Cryonite® indeed qualifies as a natural choice for pest management professionals. |
